British couple freed by Somali pirates return home

Paul and Rachel Chandler -- the British couple held hostage by Somali pirates for 388 days -- have returned to the U.K. following their release from captivity.

The couple were freed on Sunday and arrived at London's Heathrow Airport at around 6:44 p.m. Tuesday on a Virgin Atlantic flight from Nairobi. Their release ended one of the most dramatic and drawn-out hostage situations since pirate attacks spiked off East Africa.

Both appeared tired as they walked from the aircraft to a car waiting on the tarmac.
