Turkish aid teams make Somali children happy

Teams from Turkish Red Crescent are playing several games with Somali children at tent camp in Mogadishu during their spare times.


Turkish aid teams are exerting efforts to put a smile on faces of Somali children.

Kemal Pehlivanli, chairperson of delegation for Somalia of Turkish Red Crescent, told the AA that they extended help to several Somali people in the tent camp hosting 1,400 people.

Pehlivanli said that they attached a special importance to children staying in the camp and they exerting efforts to make them forget difficulties there.

Pehlivanli said that they planned to establish a playground for children and social recreation facilities for adults.

"We are working to make their lives easier," he said.
