Property prices 'soaring' in Mogadishu, say estate agents



The next few weeks in Somalia could see the creation of the first "normal" political institutions in two decades.

The BBC's Andrew Harding is in Mogadishu, where the tides of economic change are already happening.

Now, 21 years later and eight months after Al-Qaeda-allied insurgents abandoned much of the city following pressure from the African Union and government forces, the capital is showing signs of life, with reconstruction underway and land prices soaring.
