Italian woman in Malta accuses two Somali men of rape - The Malta Independent

An Italian woman has accused two Somali men in Malta of rape, the Courts heard today.

Allegedly, the rape took place last year in March, when, according to the woman, a car drove up to her in Blata l-Bajda. A man then exited the car and quickly grabbed her, she said. She stated that she was immediately relieved of her mobile phone, with her brother on the line, and was driven to Hal Far.

One of her abductees threatened her, stating that she would die and began to strangle her, the woman added. One of the accused, currently wheelchair bound, allegedly undressed her then removed his trousers and raped her. The two other men present in the car had exited the vehicle.

She was then thrown out of the car, her Swarovski ring stolen, and was left in the Industrial estate, she concluded.
